Altavady Farm spans 620ha on rolling hills, 20km inland from the Oamaru township in beautiful North Otago.

We provide dairy grazing support for Providence and Fortitude Farms. Relationships between all the farms allow the dairy operation to reduce bobby calves by rearing 750 dairy-beef calves each year at Altavady. We also utilise land for forestry and a small number of sheep units.

The farm has been extensively developed with new irrigation infrastructure and lanes to optimise farming efficiencies. Our water is supplied by Lower Waitaki Irrigation Company and North Otago Irrigation Company

We work in a team with 2 permanent full time staff and 2 permanent part time staff.
